ARLINGTON, VA (August 22, 2017) — Every year more than one million babies are born worldwide with a disease caused by a single error in one of our many genes. These errors, or mutations, can cause genetic illnesses that are often severe and can rob people of sight, breath, movement and life. Now, for the first time, doctors can take aim at the root causes of these diseases. ACCRA, GHANA (MAY 23, 2017) — Celebrate Africa Day by watching THE LUCKY SPECIALS on TV3 on May 25 at 3 p.m. An African film for African audiences, this new feature-length film from the producers of the widely-acclaimed movie “Inside Story” follows a guitarist and his friends on their journey to create a new musical sound and catapult their small-time band to the big stage. THE LUCKY SPECIALS is making its west African broadcast premiere after winning awards at the Pan-African Film Festival of Ouagadougou (FESPACO).

NEW YORK, NY (MAY 2, 2017) — PBS announced today that THE FARTHEST - VOYAGER IN SPACE, a two-hour special about NASA’s historic Voyager mission to explore our solar system and beyond, will premiere nationally on August 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS stations, in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the first Voyager launch. The documentary was an official selection in the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival as part of the festival’s Viewpoints program.

SILVER SPRING, MD; MARCH 21, 2017 – THE LUCKY SPECIALS is a feature-length film slated to entertain millions in southern Africa and around the world with its dynamic storyline, new brand of African music, and unique look at the global epidemic of tuberculosis (TB). A private screening of the film was hosted by Discovery Learning Alliance and HHMI Tangled Bank Studios on March 21 at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center just outside of Washington, D.C.
